Whisper A Mile For Me

Whisper A Mile For Me

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

jagged.

like the sun

she calls,

whispers in thine ear,

"Call your sundry

lovely tiles

to be treasured in a year.

Let the titans come upon you

and we'll all be drinking beer, oh

just listen.

A moment,

as I whisper in thine ear"

and as a soul breaks,

wonders to itself:

How can it be so?

Listed as the ill one,

beyond a second note--

As a second thought.....

....on second thought....

who did whisper in thine ear?

I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
