I Reached.

I Reached.

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

In this quiet world,

nothing will ever let us stop

but the end.

and when I look back and see,

the past, it catches up to me

and see,

I felt you looking back to me.

but that can't possibly,

can't possibly be

in this quiet world.

pick up pace.

no one can stop in this minute

we speed faster and faster

'til the earth bids us over,

and our bodies decay and die.

We fade, become the ground,

but hearts,

they burn strong,and forever,

forever and a day I thought,

that moment when I reached you  to my eye,

caught you by, but

This world won't stop,

to reach you,

and in truth I fear to stay,

I fear to lay at night and gaze at stars,

each one to count on you

for another day,

another wish and night,

to keep that dream alive

was like finding you.

and in letting go,

my feet flutter off in dance,

and I paint myself to shadow,

so far inside my own

that you cannot breach me.

come forth and try,

because my luster,

it's lost and I

can't find a way to release myself,

feel the warmth of tomorrow

when I'm so out of tune

these words, how my own words

will never mean a word to me.

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
