Light Up the Stars

Light Up the Stars

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Maybe it wasn’t so distant,
Maybe it’s just a light.
But something isn’t right.

Never will I speak
Of the galaxies afar,
For only the dreams of children
May cling to its power.
My thoughts do try to wander,
Thinking of the wrongs and rights.
I really see no problem in a dream.

Just take that dream to the stars,
Where light relies on faith
To make our hearts joyous.

I like how whimsical it is, just so perfectly flowing like a petal falling to a still pool of water. Excellent.
