A Wristwatch For the Time

A Wristwatch For the Time

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Lesson the load,
bare the broken ties,
time can bring you pleasure,
as well can bring you crime

I cannot picture
a better chaser to this drink
I would hold you
to these words that I do say
but every ounce of blood within me
tells me who i spoke today
and let it linger,
until I long for no more
longing sorrow.

no truer words er' said, for time can be so cruel and so kind, giving us moments of such joy and by stealing away the time needed to enjoy them.
Love the ending long for no more longing sorrow ~ pained words indeed they speak so soft of unheeded emotion and untaken arms, keep em' coming

I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
