I'll Play You an Amateur Tune

I'll Play You an Amateur Tune

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

stainless steel
embodiments
crack with rust in time
to see the last ferry out to sea
and hear my last goodbye

will you listen to the sweet chirp of its ring?
hear it glisten, gleam, and twang
to the beats of my guitar
and the song you never sing.

do it once for me
and you'll hear
a boding chorus
play you Annie.....

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
