Does This Light Make You Clammy? I Hope it DoesA Poem by Kristine Ferg
Rich and cumbersome,
you deem your heart pure steaming hot on the table, though you're never a bore as the tables keep turning, which they always will do growing vegetable gardens for stew. for all I know your words are just words. Lies cannot be known should one trust giraffe's mannerly thought? For is it not the bachelor's trouble to be lost in daisy's maze.... or was it..... Alice's maze alone? No one knows. No one knows what to find in you, lest she hides. and lest, her heart begets you. © 2011 Kristine Ferg |
