Unknown Writing

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

I am
the beast upon the wall,
trying hard to unfasten myself
and lead you on in stroll
oh how I know.

My limp arms fall to my sides,
they lie half open from the wounds--
you left in there.....

my brain half on the floor,
I pick up the bloodied remains
and eat them.

Was that you knocking at the window pane
again?

Stunningly harrowing and haunting with ethereal desolation a detachment flows through and yet awakens a melody that causes flames to dance and flicker in the gore of innocent words. Macabre the voice seemingly naive holds a greater taunting depth if sensual temptation. Love it.

I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
