Feverish Love; How Dost One Know?

Feverish Love; How Dost One Know?

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Learn to lean, this night
is slipping, grasp
for every tongue to catch
and wait for every being to
reform in present tense....

I've long awaited your taste,
your everlasting breath on me;
breathe long and deep
into the brightest moon for me,
you see...
I love the way it shines.
love the way
it shines;
upon your face,

sleeping nightingales lay somberly aside us, as we
take one final stroll around the sea,
oh beautiful call of the night, you are,
a simple
sigh of wind to mind,
lifting all the worry, stress
please hurry off--

oh how merry thee be,
with the last
of beckoning,
called to serve and order, not unlike
your very soul,
for it is
your heart of gold
the very hymn sung in every song
that only I will sing,
so will you sing me to sleep,
play me your love song's harmony?
I want to hear your every cord,
touch the very core of your unending tune to me,
but listen carefully,
for my heart song
whispers.....

I love you.

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
