Close in Lasting Collisions

Close in Lasting Collisions

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

silence.
is walking, my feet,
be-gin
to stir, and I'm
wandering aimlessly 'lone at your side.

Your mumbling hides my secret,
and your presence a prize
where the deepest surmises
stitched you to your pride---

and this I lie with you,
cry with you,
beg,
until every ounce with-
in me
cries for the longing of a darkened heart to light

lowly, lullaby.
You care less for me now,
yes,
oh lullaby.
i knew you not in stone.
but of the debts you had once maimed me with
grow so colder then
your self

but only,
for a time.
Yet I,
shall watch you sleep here
evermore.

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
