Too Beautiful To Care

Too Beautiful To Care

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

reaching up, let the petals
hit the ground (in silent sun).
It's a given, we knew how
when all was
set in stone.

This is where I breathe.
A heart of bronze left in the rainstorm of
the loaded landfill lollipop decoder ring
and I think...... This life
could use a few more interactions.

Where the subtle spirits are calling,
wanting, oh
creating life. There is nothing left for beggars
when gold becomes our belongings
waiting for the night to turn them
into stone, the world will seek us
hating all the light fired in between.

hating, all the light...
fired in between....
and so we all think this life....
is too beautiful to care for us,
thinking it will save us,
when no words....
were cut to tombs.

About
I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
