I'll Follow You.

I'll Follow You.

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Ripped by a breath--

run me down by your cheek;

Kiss the feathers by the house

that you once

disappointed me.

Break free. Break free… on me.

Tell about your dreams,

the odds, the wonders…

And edge along.

Tear me slow,

Tear me slower.

when my body hungers.

None to know.

Brace for retraction

as the hazy lines go.

And I’ll follow.

I’ll follow you.

Awesome flow with a gentle, reassuring grip.
This felt like rolling down a sloping hill,
or like a sleigh ride, even enjoyable on a frigid day.

I'm just another person. Just like you; my art the object of knowledge in understanding who I am and how I am. And that, simply, is enough about me. more..
