Extinction

Extinction

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

Fighting fetch,

A broken wretch; these

Words are all stable.

Heaven-sent, we bend a hand

Loose after god-less hours,

Temptress tremors that perhaps

We've caused ourselves?

What is the right side,

Half-blinded by fan-fares

We run ourselves… amok.

Oh, why did we have to screw our luck?

Big night affairs,

We dream for the moonlight attire,

Blindfold our fears, wizen up those old men

Who are already gone, how have we lost

And they won?

Broken and numb, can we reach for these tremors

Undone?

Broken and numb;

It's not deep nights or street lights

we've won.

Am pretty sure, you bled with the theory of violence - the extinction, distortion & the condolence of worldly devastation...

... you know, sometimes, the heart feels very bad thinking ov'r the lives - the bad ones which causing much to good ones, but the next moment, when I look up to the sky, I find nothing to be blamed for .. cos, even the reason of violence itself belongs to our needs and wants.. which're long lasting. What a thought provoking poetry you've come up with. Here, I may say that your voice's being captured in words... that shouting at the world, quite madly. Nice imagery. Well, you're full of thoughts and perspectives... but I wonder, why you stopped writing.. or "posting"? (Would it be quite personal to ask if may I... ?)
