Like You Did

Like You Did

A Poem by silently leathel

So kiss me like you did,
My heart stopped beating.

So love me like you did,
The memories are fleeting

So hold me like you did,
I promise not to go.

So have me like you did,
Digging deep below.

So hide me like you did,
Take away my presence.

So leave me like you did,
Evacuate my essence.

So hate me like you did,
Don't clot my endless
bleeding.

So kill me like you did,
My heart stopped beating.

The first three verses come over like fluffly bunny twaddle until you get to the fourth one where cynicism and bitterness rears it friendly little head. I love the way it switches around and sums up young love and loss.
Your'e only 13, but you have a skill that will develop and with interest I'm off to look at some more of your work

This is a amazing poem being only one year older than you I can relate to the fact that people believe we are to young to understand love, but it is obvious that we can comprehend and experience true, meaningful love as much to the same extent as a older maturer 30 year old. This poem illustrates the pain of love that always arrives with the presence of a strong relationship. I love every line and I am glad I discovered you and I will be be following your writing further.

I like this verbal vomit of vitriol. It's set up nicely by the 1st four verses. Then in comes the dagger. I suppose the writer of this is young! Have no fear. The subject matter of young love is so common. The last four verses are brilliant grape shot! Splattering the vicious male who lie to take!
