PeaceA Poem by Piper LynnIs there hope that we will find a voice? Why do you even bother? You answer clear and strong, Where there is love there is hope for me. But they fight so heard against you With wars and hate and death. Why do you even bother? People gather, speaking my name Asking to give me a chance. Where there is love there is hope for me. They spit on your name, the bravest of men, Killing children from miles away. Why do you even bother? People hold signs, the cowardly fools, And are beaten within an inch of their life. Where there is love there is hope for me. Here I stand, among the people And to the most diligent of men who ask Why should I even bother? Where there is love there is hope for peace. © 2011 Piper LynnReviews
