In Sanity

In Sanity

A Poem by Piper Lynn

I do not belong.
Among these hopeless madmen,
I alone am sane,
Sourounded by madness.

Amonge these hopeless madmen,
Screams are carried though the night.
Sourounded by madness,
I shild my eyes for protection.

Screams are carried though the night
My own voice joins the chorus.
I shild my eyes for protection.
Why can't they hear me?

My own voice joins the chorus,
I alone am sane.
Why can't they hear me?
I do not belong.
