The Journey

And so...
Its been six months now, 

Not a day goes by without you on my mind,

Its true what the others tell me.
 "Once she's gone she ain't never coming back",
...A Million times I've told myself that.

But we were so young,
Our crusade was just beginning,
No one could foresee what was going to happen next,
They say everything is for a reason,
Sometimes I wish I knew what that reason was...

And now...

Separated as we might be,

I wonder how your doing,

I know you're protecting yourself,

As for me..? well..

I'm stranded without a Northern Star to guide me home.

I know what I must do, and Its simple.. really.
I have to carry on with my journey.
Even though.. It isn't easy.

Well...
Actually.. to be honest...
It's only getting harder.

Confused and lost with one foot in front of the other,

I continue on with.. wherever I'm going.

So I hope,

Your journey is going well too,

And that maybe,

Our paths will collide again someday.

May happiness and good health be with you,
