Life Will Suck Without You

I just went through a break up with the one who was dearest to me and I didn't spend too much time on this poem because it hurt to think about it... so... i hope it's okay.

He said he loved her

And she was his lover

They had some fun

But in this game, he is the one who won.

 

She is the girl

That takes life as a playful twirl

He is the guy

Who let’s time go by.

 

Together they were perfect

Though obviously he decided to reject it

He says that he’s sorry

And he says he feels badly.

 

Then why go away

And let the conversation replay

Many like the game of life

And haven’t had the suffering of being stabbed by a mental knife.

 

Love sometimes is a trick

Especially when it comes as easy as a click

I know this is true

So she thought it was going to be easy, but she still loves you.

 

I am the she

And you are the he

I am the mentally killed

You are the one who helped me build.

 

You helped me build a world

One where excitement twirled and whirled

You are the one who brought it down

You made me look like a clown.

 

I looked like your puppet

You were my world, my orbit

I am the one still sad

Because I still love you and it makes me mad.

 

I love you with all my heart

That is now torn apart

They say love is forever

But it was severed.

 

I know we are young

But it hurts because I clung

This relationship will never work

Even if when we kissed I felt a firework.

 

So you go have fun

Don’t worry how hard I’ve fallen

Just please remember

My love will be strong for you forever.
