A Story by Midnight

Echoing silence in the valley

misty lanes, cloudy hills

Darkness everlasting

Peirce the day

Bring the night

Tears flowing

from the sky

matches the feeling

inside the people

bring the night

Midnight chimes

Break the silence

frighten the shadows

of wandering souls

Bring the night

Suddenley, daylight comes

like a dagger to the night

Neverending darkness is broken

The cycle begins again

Bring the night

I really like this one - dark, brooding, nice imagery and I like the 'bring the night' as the last verse of each stanza.
