![]() Dreams from my father- Barack ObamaA Story by SilentTree
Hello,
Mr. Former president Barck Obama Barack Obama is a known name, he is a
popular person who has been given credibility for his work as the former
president of the USA, for 8 years. He started as an organizer after he moved to
New York to find answers. While looking for the answers, he met great people along
the way which made his view of humans somehow very extraordinary. While he is
smart, hardworking and kind man, he is also black. The book he wrote is so show a memoir to
explain alle the answers he was looking for. His personality and goals were
based on the experience that was shown to him in his younger days. His goals of
trying to show the americana what they should be fighting for and striving hard
to make a change for the people is one of the most amazing things he has done.
While you do not need to agree on his political opinions and how matters should
be solved, he was one of the few presidents who backed up his word whit evidence.
His ideas show a much broader concept, to look at the bigger picture when doing
things that you fight for. His motto is to trye to get everyone included, to
make people speak, to find problems and to find solutions. He is also a very skilled storyteller; he goes
deep whit his vocabulary, but it makes sense. He was speaking to a child while
reasoning with an adult. His choice of words makes you feel like you are the character,
the way he sets the room and how he sounds and how he goes from one scene to
another is so natural and flawless. He has chosen to make his audience choose
what we can feel it, for me it is a memoir. As we read, we could see all this big
character big development that make us feel like we are closer to him while simultaneously
making us feel like he is so far ahead a skill which is hard to master. The big subject for me is the anger he feels, the anger of every black person. He goes into the subject of trying to fit in. To find a sense of belonging and a true self where you will feel at home. While he is trying g to navigate his feelings as an angry black man in this world, he find himself questioning his blackness, his sense of belonging and the gear of being alone. His way of describing the angry black man’s aggression is in a familiar tone, where you as a black person understand where this is coming from but ultimately you can’t find the source. This book was innocent and deep, in a kind
of way buy answering a lot of my questions while getting questioned on why I feel
that way. While the hole book quite good, this far of the angriness in a black
person has struck me. It explains a lot, on how the angriness in a black person
is been giving to them by the society while is it not the society fault on why we
are pushing it. It gave me answers and questions and one of my immediate
reactions after finishing the book is, did I work hard to belong somewhere? © 2024 SilentTreeAuthor's Note
