The WellA Poem by SilentScreamingYup..Your fingernails dig into the hard bricks Your knees scrape as you climb up, peering into the darkness below Your eyes squeeze shut as your drop foward The feeling of falling overwhelms you Your eyes flash infront of your eyes Death stares you in the eyes, tempting to take you away from all you love Your choice Piercing Screeching Your body hits the dark water, you gasp one of your last breaths You slowly bob in the smothering water, your eyes squeezing shut Struggle You try to grip the bricked walls You fail Your hands slip and you start to choke on the sour water You begin to sink, water filling your body, drowning you Satisfactory Your body goes numb, your mind fades slowly You continue to sink, deeper and deeper into the water The last thing you see is the dark figure of the curious human, peering into the well Your last vision But It's too late Your life, your humane, slowly slips away. © 2011 SilentScreamingReviews
