(Un)Civil War

(Un)Civil War

A Poem by Beautiful Mistake

How can I forgive you after you brought guns out
Accept your sorry after you enlisted an army to shoot me down
What was once our home is a battlefield now
How did this relationship turn into a war
I can't even tell you what we are fighting for
Yet you brought a civil war to my front door
You switched up and betrayed me
If life is a game you played me
Then plan from the jump was for you to attack me and run
You're out of bullets so why point your gun
Our friendship has turned into strife now
So many memories you just buried in the ground
Our history is now a civil war
