Imaginary Friend

Imaginary Friend

A Poem by Beautiful Mistake

Feeling like dust in the wind

Drifting over water and land

Where I'm going I'll never know

Until I'm there will I mix with

Dirt or sand will I for ever feel

Like a fish on land wondering if

I may ever be seen in pure light

Will it only last for tonight are we

Truly free from the like of tyranny or

Must we free ourselves from one another

Mother sister father brother and all the

Others can we truly trust our friends

Even though they may leave you before

The end just like the ending in friend

But should they really get to decide when

The end should you really call them your friend

From the start or should we stop before we begin before I dare call you my friend
