The Road Least Traveled

The Road Least Traveled

A Poem by Beautiful Mistake

I walk alone on the forgotten path

No person or thing in sight

The place where the dark meets the light

Where trees are afraid to grow

Where rain is afraid to fall

The Path where my tears make the grass grow

I know a place where no one goes

All you have to do is follow this road

Many remember that a rainbow comes after the rain

But none want to weather the storm

Everyone wants to win the battle but not fight the war

Proudly I walk the forgotten path

Learning life's lessons and passing life's test

This is the road least traveled
