New Day

Short poem

The rooster sounds its alarm the flowers awaken
The sun smiles today is a new day a new begining
My anger has left never to return and joy finally finds me
Today I wait for rain to come and go so I may reach the end
Of the rainbow finding the treasure I truly desire
Peace with my inner demons and calmness in my heart
All the luck I was blessed with was found in the smell of dew
That comes with this new day
