I miss you everyday

The pages of the book turn as I reach a new chapter

My min turns on as the lights go out

This silence hurts more than the pitch black darkness

Your life was a burning candle that the cold wind blew out

Smoke from your candle rises as if to say goodbye

Time to close the cover an walk away

We were only half way done now these pages are blank

My pen dried out the same day your smile did

No words only tears cover the pages

Can I even call this a book with unfinished pages

The day you died this became the untold story
