Land of Dreams

How it feels losing something you never had, but always wanted, with its image burned in your mind?

Let me flow away
In land of dreams
Where no one lives
Where I can sleep

Land of dreams eternal
Unreal, grim and dark within
There is no gate nor password -
You always carry it within

I've been forbidden from that land
Where I can find my peace and rest
Even if it always with me
Cannot enter my own heart

Walking through the real world
Filled with futuristic thoughts
I cannot find the land I dream of
And so I'm restless till the end

Listening to echoes of the thoughts
There is no way down, I hit the bottom
There's no one but darkness -
My cloak, my curse, my inner self.
