Into The Darkness
by GothicAngel
People always think I'm so happy and so peppy and so hyper because I'm always smiling, but there’s something cold and blank behind a smile. If everyone of you could see exactly how I really feel you'd probably want to slit your wrists as much as I do. One little pill and I was back as right as rain, but not anymore. All the drugs in the world they can't save you from yourself, they can't save you from what goes on inside. Its as though your locked inside your own little box, just waiting for someone to turn that key, to let you out, to make you sane again, but somehow you know that will never happen. Its then It begins to grow until your infected with it, It burrows Its way under your skin and spreads, It spreads, until your mind Is riddled with it, It slowly strangles the life out of every thought, every feeling. Inside your suffocating as It drags you kicking and screaming Into the darkness. __________________ Copyright © GothicAngel The lines that stood out for me were: And my response:
