Tasting Rhyme
(Tumbling Tercets)

pages flutter, nearly silenced.
…falling still as pen in hand
hovers.   and in dwelling

I’m convinced there is more
to be said... to create
moments imbued with color

for no cause beyond pure need.
awaiting my muse’s reprise
and verse bursting as seeds

of pomegranate, rolled
on the tip of my tongue.
awakening… tasting rhyme

Written for a Word Challenge
Using the words:

reprise – cause – convinced – nearly –
create – my – still - pomegranate

I think this is excellent in the use of the words and the message. I like tercets and used to use them often, this makes we want to do another one. If there is one thing I might suggest looking at again, it is the repetitiion of the word "hand" in the first tercet... it seems to not fit quite right. Great work though. ~Jim

phenomonal, sent chills through me, to seek the essense of such to the degree expression becomes one with the mind, body and soul, reading your words struck me like neruda, but I must say this is more beautiful than the stars casting freckles upon twilight's face, in ways of poetical adoration I can feel
the greek ambience flowing through and through, reaching for the hued sky of ascension, the way
the images burst to life, divine and artful encapsulating perfect balance of creativity and emotion, bravo..
