unsettling, unassuming
glimpses of pestilence
flashing still shots
with smoked edges
and faces
exuding power
unsettling smiling outsiders
who prefer handshakes,
pats on backs
donning unassuming titles,
neatly wrapped
in well-arranged dress
lips tightly pursed~ poised
to blow whistles
of disbelief
