A Poem by SilentDream

Regarding this...

(Tritina)

A page unlined with flecks of gold and tan
Awaits the touch of tempered, steadied hand
While muted thoughts spill forth regarding this

Of whispered words and smudges such as this
So blurred, unseen in soft and weathered tan
A page untouched nor stroked by palm of hand

Do dry such dampened thoughts with this, thy hand
For I cannot endure much more of this
As pages darken from soft cream to tan

On pages tan, my hand does write of this…

This is absolutely lovely. There are few times when I can't offer up any sort of critique whatsoever, but this is one of those times. This is a poem that gets better every time you read it and your imagery is deep and submersive. I hope one day to write like you.
