Enlighten

A Poem by Siena - Silent Awakenings.
"

When you have nothing going for you... let others step in and inspire. You should know better then to hide away.

"
Twenty minutes in, and the colours still blind me.
Saturn blues and Crispy oranges.
Despite this though, she is still trying... I respect her as she lays several more down onto the table. Hand gesturing my thoughts, its like shes reading my slightly disorientated mind. I now scan the table once more, and through my eyes, I see carefully placed photographs that are laid out before me. As I do... One invades my thoughts, taking over erratically. It speaks volumes. But she will never know.
For I am not fluent in sign language. Nor have I ever tried to understand a deaf girl before.

3 seconds later and her once gleaming face is now rigid and blue.
She was showing me her life in photograph.
