This HeatA Poem by Siena - Silent Awakenings.Hot Weather makes people lose their minds.
I can't write in this heat, my thoughts are evaporating.
My gentle touch, now scorching hot. My paper? Crusty and Brown. I can't write in this heat, my fingers won't hold my pen. My brain won't say 'Amen.' Nothing we'll ever do. I can't write in this heat, I'm not with you! Your cold touch will never amount to much, here in this dessert. Your kiss, will be more like a miss. But I still love you.
