Beauty Survives.

Beauty Survives.

A Poem by Siena - Silent Awakenings.

Beauty can be loved, hated and envied.
Something so beautiful your eyes find it hard to see, you can find it hard to be.

Beauty can be adored, congratulated and taken seriously.
Something so different from your normal life, something that gives you a slight... Satisfaction of what someone really lives like.

Beauty doesn't have to be you, doesn't have to be me, it has to be something 'you' see.
Something that lives in your heart and will never escape.
Something that foreshadows your life in one beautiful way.

this is well done how the softness of language and tone match the font characters and sentiments. "Beauty can be adored, congratulated and taken seriously." stands against the norm of objectifying, and makes the entire piece not only well written but worthwhile. thank you.

Fantastic! Beauty in one of it's most purest forms.

Your poem describes the truth that we all have our own interpretations and perceptions, skewed by our individual backgrounds and viewpoints. The lines have a smooth flow and offer feelings of happiness and hope. This helps us avoid buying in to the images of beauty that Hollywood or the advertising industry would like us to embrace. My mama loved me and thought I was beautiful, when I was a baby. Your poem is clear, easy to understand and enjoyable.

This one really got my brain working. It's so true beauty is known in many ways - sight, personality, etc... But sometimes we fail to see. No critcisms.

This poem, is most definitely a form of beauty. The rise and fall of the prose is skillfully manipulated. I loved this.

This one is so thought-provoking, since beauty is so many different things to different people; you can really see that in the reviews. I love the different angles you explore, from physical beauty to inner beauty to something more general that hits a person. For me, the greatest beauty is in nature and art and writing and music. It really does come from our own perceptions, what changes us forever.

This is a good poem. It basically talks about various forms of beauty, and in the end one universal truth, beauty always survives till the end. You've depicted that well. But if it helps, I was searching for a smooth flow in this poem, and couldn't clearly find one. So It would be great, if you could work on that.
