Unspoken Words in the Fires of Love

Unspoken Words in the Fires of Love

A Poem by Silent Angel

Words left unspoken

Are serious vice

Yet words spoken aloud

Often cause strife

And in your haste

Expressing lost emotion

Built up over the years

A dangerous mixed potion

Never find others fault

But never your own

Surprised everyone left?

You should have known

A wish lost in time

An answer to no one’s prayers

Who actually wanted any war?

It’s not like anyone cares

When the sun blinks out

No light left to love

Then they will care

Ask for help from above

When the ocean dries up

And thirst takes over

Then they will care

Wishing on his clover

When the stars and the moon leave

And the rain begins to fall

You will all realize

You had no faith at all

But when the sun blinks out

And the oceans dry up

When the stars and the moon leave

And rain falls into our cup

You and I will be safe

Away from the fires of hell

You and I will be far away

Without a story to tell

You and I will make it

We’ll see it through till the end

Because you and I are in love

And love doesn’t bend

I do like this poem but I like it as two individual poems...I feel as though half way through you have shifted the whole subject. Other then that it's good, keep writing :)
