Standing on the street

Watching all the cars

Looking at the sky

Looking at the stars

 

Feel the mad wind

As it dances with your hair

Seeing all the people

As they try not to stare

 

Hearing the clock ticking

The time’s rolling by

Sitting in the dark

Trying not to cry

 

There’s no one at home

No one’s around

Another tear drops

But it doesn’t make a sound

Time is flying by

Going oh so fast

Don’t waste it with sorrow

It’s hard to see the rainbow

With so much pounding rain

Been down that raod before, It's a hard to travel but there is hope at the end. You have to be tough. I really enjoyed your write, so much truth within this. Very well written. Ironically though I could also imagine this as a song.
