Losing You

Losing You

A Poem by Silent Angel

I don’t know how to say this

I guess I’ll talk fast

I still have the memories

The ones from the past

It hurts to look outside

And see your not there

I really, really miss you

And I still really care

I probably shouldn’t cry

I know you’re happier now

I want to stop baby

But I simply don’t know how

The pain is cutting deep

And I won’t see you tomorrow

I won’t see you for a long, long time

And I’m drowning in my sorrow

I guess I should realize

That you’ll always be in my heart

But these tears are choking me

And ripping me apart

I know you’re with your sister now

Somewhere in the sky

Can you really see me down here?

I’m still trying not to cry

I’m sorry mommy’s not with you

I wish that I could be

Actually I wish you were here right now

Sitting next to me

I hope I’ll see you in Heaven

Whenever I come to join you

Just remember me baby

And know I love you too

Have fun in Heaven for me

Run around and play

You’ll always be with me

In my heart you will stay
