Can't You See?

Can't You See?

A Poem by Silent Angel

The anger inside me is burning

With such a fiery rage

But I know I shouldn’t say anything

Not at such a stage

So I guess I’ll just listen

And I will try real hard not to hear

Those words coming out of your mouth

Make me want to disappear

I have so much I want to say

Just churning in my mind

I wanted to scream and yell at you

But I keep my thoughts confined

You keep thinking you’ve won

When I don’t say much

But the truth is that you really didn’t

So please get in touch

Just keep talking honey

I’ll make sure I agree

But inside I’m really dying

I wish you could see

Taking the back seat and just listening doesn't mean you don't know what going on like many people think...if anything it means your taking in as much information as possible and waiting for the right moment to have your say. This poem is very me and I think it's great :)
