Cry or Die

Cry or Die

A Poem by Silent Angel

Since your laugh can bring me so much joy

I’ll ask for just a giggle
Because I’d rather let you keep your laughs

Then make your mouth a squiggle

If your breathe could really save my soul

I’d ask for just a whisper

Because I know I’d give you all my spirit

If it’ll keep your voice crisper

If your blood could truly clear my conscious

I’d ask for just a drop

Because I’d rather walk around in pain

Then hear your blood plop

But if your one tear could save my life

I wouldn’t ask for any

Because I’d rather die then see you cry

And one tear brings along many
