Silent Angels Whisper * Part II: Smotri Na Menya (See me) - Chapter 8

A Chapter by Silent Angel

“Hey, Engel, wake up. Creep guy who took your pillow is back.” Lune whispered in my ear as he shook me gently.

I shot up like a bullet and grabbed the gun under my bed. We both slipped through the door to see what he wanted.

“Hello my good friends. How are you today?” the creepy man asked in a friendly tone.

“Well, we were fine until you showed up.” Lune replied, no friendly "like at all

“Oh, I’m so sorry, I just wanted to return the pillow I took.” the man said as he handed me the pillow.

“Is that it?” I asked, realizing there was something wrong with him.

“Hmm….I’m not sure….let me think….there was something else…..” the man muttered, putting on a great thinking face.

And then it hit me. He wasn’t making direct eye contact. He wasn’t looking at anything directly. The only way he could hand me to pillow was because he could feel where I was. He was the blind killer that was after us. Lucky for me, I’m a fast thinker.

“Oh that’s right…” he suddenly stated

I yanked out my gun and shot my bullet at the same time as him, causing the bullets to collide right into each other and create a small explosion. He was obviously shocked but I wasn’t wasting a second. Without think I lunged myself at him and flipped him over the railing so that he fell four storied down. I quickly grabbed a hold of the ledge of the balcony and looked down at him before pulling myself up on top.

Somewhere in the rooms Lune was shouting ‘Five to seven,’ our retreat code. I kneeled on the edge of the platform and layed one arm across my knee before shouting down to the man who now looked broken.

“Can you see me now?!” I shouted before turning to leave with my group.
