LifeA Poem by annawhat i see in adult hoodAnother life just came into
this world. Taking the first breathe. Breathing unknown air. Objects shift and are fuzzy. Muffled voices, But none are the soothing
voice I heard, For 9 months. Where is that voice…? Looking up Being shifted around, Hearing unfamiliar voice, Seeing the ceiling twisting
and turning. A pair hand lifts me up to the
sky Flying through the world
through a pair of arms Then being planted into a new
set of arms Along with the familiar voice… This is my mother. I see her gentle face, As she looks with me with eyes Full of life and love, As this new setting that’s
called Home. I see my mother and fathers
faces, It seems that every time I
close my eyes I grow older, and so do they. I could only imagine, What my father and mother saw I don’t know what they saw, But, I saw: Love, Pain, Sadness and Value. In their eyes throughout my
whole my life, Them trying to guide my life, Support me Show me the way into this Unknown world.
They tried to be there for me. Showed me that they cared. And taught me what love and
loyalty is. And just simply To show me what life is.
Life. A strange word. Indeed. But to understand it, You will need responsibility, and
love. And the most important thing
is, What’s reality vs. fantasy. Careful what you want and choose in life, You can simply give up yours.. And easily make another, It’s your choice. © 2013 annaAuthor's Note
