The Old Us

The Old Us

A Poem by screw this.

I still remember all those times

Of us just sitting underneath the trees

Laughing our heads off for no reason

I still remember all those times

When we ruled the world

Just you and me

Lingering around

Telling each other nonsense

I still remember that time

I took the blame on myself

And you did the same

I still remember those times we used to be the class clowns

And never cared about what other people thought about us

And what about that time?

I came to you at midnight

You cried on my shoulder

Spilled everything that happened

What happened to those times?

I’ve got you in my mind now.

What happened to the old us?

What am I supposed to do?

I still love you
