The Butterfly Kiss

The Butterfly Kiss

A Poem by Silmara McGarry

Among angels she dances, emerging and flying,

disappearing gracefully yet no more tears to cry.

What a fascinating creature, alluring them all,

no one can slash her wings because she knows no fall

Again and again she emerges as if life has no end,

spinning around their heads in entrancing speed.

What more could she do since her magic is endless?

Intriguing are their thoughts as why she has been

so restless

Does this being really exists or is all just a dream?

no she has realms in different dimensions that is why

you can't see.

Learn to upspring above the planet so you can make

sense of her,

although that is impossible for the butterfly is dead.

Your poem is a captivating and thought-provoking work of art that explores the concept of a mystical being that exists beyond the boundaries of our world. The way you describe the character's movements and the allure she has over others is both enchanting and mesmerizing, and the ending is a poignant reminder of the fleeting nature of life. The way you write about the character's existence in different dimensions is particularly intriguing, and it adds an extra layer of depth to the poem. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your poem and was left feeling inspired and curious about the world beyond our own.

Beautifully done, Sil. "For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." Transformation and renewal will always be related to the butterfly. They bring good luck in dreams I hear. :)))

Title, poem and pic are outstanding. Butterflies are truly what we feel about angels and you state that marvelously. They flutter around happily as if in a dance to keep us in their trance. They do it with ease and much grace as if kissing the flowers here and there.

You too dear friend. You are welcome.
An amazing poem of grace and intrigue; of life spinning around, of different dimensions; of angels, of magic; your words conjure up such ethereal images and the photos is a perfect match.
Excellent poem.

A Butterfly is a messenger that guides our thoughts…. then emerges into the dusk where dreams are covered with wings that someday will fly away to inspire the birds and all who pray. tenderly, Pat

.. You must, I will .. You too :)
Tis true, the briefer the visit the most beautiful and memorable the visitors.. and that is the brief life-span of butterflies. They suddenly arrive, dance over blossom such as wild buddleia; coy creatures. they hide if people go near them! Then, having charmed us clomping, chomping human beings, they delicately flutter 0ff and away as if colourless tissue caught in a gentle breeze. And yes, they make a simple poet turn to jelly!

Your poem echoes my feelings for butterflies'; when their season is done, seems coloured light has disappeared - albeit died. from various parts of my garden. Sigh.. Your poem is beautiful.
