The Beautiful Song

               Look at me while I sing the beautiful song.

                Tell me that without me you can’t live on.
                Stay with me under unclouded warm sun,
                let the rays of light show you a new dawn.
                    Lay with me under glaring starry sky,
             Not ever forgetting that you will always be mine.
                         Be my knight for all my life, 
                  sharing with me unforgettable delights.
                       Soon I will be your lady in white,
           forever singing to you, the beautiful song of our lives.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being romantic or sweet! People can be so cynical about what they call sentiment.. and fair enough to each his or her own. But surely true love and needing sweet and charming words are part of a disappearing world.. Notice this was originally added in 2016, perhaps the isolation we're all feeling now in 2021 highlights what can near enough disappear overnight. To read your beautiful words really is a remedy for sore hearts. Thank you so much for sharing Silmara.
