Violet Field

Violet Field

A Poem by Silmara McGarry

As I walk down the road with you, I take the air and breathe it in, my heart that beats perfectly when you are near me.

Am I the one to lift you up to the vast field of purple violets, where our silent minds dance together in the privacy of the magical nights?

Give me the honour of looking into your eyes and entering your heart, where the way leads to your soul that had been connected with mine, since the beginning of our lives.

Purple - colour perfect for those that look both inwards and out. The colour regal yet embracing, touchable/ Your words here mean and offer truth in whatever hides within you. You have said what many could and cannot say.. tis beautiful in every way. Many, many mystic thanks.. joy within.

I see the perfection in your words and loyalty in your heart for love. True love really seems like the two hearts are connected since the beginning of lives. Simply Awesome Poem :)

It's okay. Your welcome :)
I like the way this starts out a little bland & then amplifies as it goes along, until the ending seems to have much more of a powerful message to convey. The first couplet seems bland to me becuz some of the ideas are a little predictable: ""walk down the road" . . . "breathe in the air" . . . "heart beats perfectly with you." This could be spiced up a bit by SHOWING us what the road looks like or what the air smells like or what the heartbeats feels like . . . details make a message more original & memorable. The final paragraph/stanza builds into a crescendo of hope & optimism.

Breathtaking read! You conveyed a strong sense of beauty and feeling that made me know how you felt. "The beginning of our lives," there's something about this expression that I adore! Tyfs!

You're very welcome.
This is wonderfully done. I love the way the font almost highlights the picture. You write with a lot of emotion. Your devotional tone is also clear and pleasing.

Nice one Sil.

You might want to add a question mark at the end of the fourth sentence.

Relic :)
