Violet Field

 

As I walk down the road with you, I take the air and breathe it in, my heart that beats perfectly when you are near me.

Am I the one to lift you up to the vast field of purple violets, where our silent minds dance together in the privacy of the magical nights?

Give me the honour of looking into your eyes and entering your heart, where the way leads to your soul that had been connected with mine, since the beginning of our lives.

Beautiful thoughts and how could anyone resist that generous offer? I am drawn to all shades of purple and violets have a special significance for me. Apart from the scent of Devon violets which I remember as a child, Violet was the main character in a book called On Angel's wings. It is the first book that I can truly remember. Your poem is about love and you took me on a nostalgia trip. That was love filled too. Thank you Sil.
