Vintageness...A Poem by Siimran K JunejaIn this era of hookups and casual dates, We forget how to wait for our mate. We kill ourselves in those relations, Which we know don't have any destination. We fall in love with sizes and bodies, Some are slender which some are cubbies. Our call logs are full of calls of friendships, But we forget how to cherish family relationships. So, I asked my friend one day, When did you call your grandmom last day? When did you called your parents who sit at another bay? Do you realize that your life has lost its way? While running for the best, We forget our soulless. We all are running in a race, But everyone is running at a different pace. But do you know what's the end of this race? No one knows their true face. We keep on filtering our life, So that no one sees what we are in real life. While exploring this world, We don't realize that we lost ourselves in this world. In this lust and orgasms, We don't see our life has got a spasm. We make money our best friend, But it's been ages that we didn't call our childhood friend. In this sophistication and modesty, We lost our craziness and honesty. We lie to the world that I am the best, But we all know that we need some rest. So, while running in this race, Slow down your pace. Look into someone's eyes, Make yourself real and wise. Before making your body in that perfect shape, Let your soul regrow its shape. Value the people who hold you back all the time, Spread some love and smile in others life. Believe in the magic you have in yourself mate, After all, life is yet to reach another rock of fame.
