I've tried. 

Two or three times. 

Or maybe five.

Each with different appeals.

it's exhausting.

when they fail...

A phantom world built

Between two others

Explodes.

Its seas grow and swell

with unsaid words and

fresh emotion

while volcanoes erupt,

throwing

lava and ash of

hate

built from love

and lust

and first kisses.

...and...

smiles

stupid smiles

unnecessary smiles

and long sleepless nights

and the most powerful sex

and the worst sex ever...

and the fading beauty

and lack of wonder

and the worldly problems...

the real problems

and all the little s**t

the little ticks

that never used to

matter

but now

just ended the world

like a swarm of fruit flies ends an apple.

Relief.

For a moment.

Or a year...

But not much longer.

Because you miss it.

You crave it.

You want...

to lust...

first kisses...

and smiles...

stupid smiles...

unnecessary smiles...

long sleepless nights...

and the most powerful sex.

You need...

some conflict in your life.
