Don’t you hear it? –

The beat of your heart,

The flutter of butterflies’ wings,

And the chirping of birds

Flying

From tree to tree,

City to city.

Stop,

I know this is really, really rough, but I kinda like it... Also, I know the ? - thing isn't proper grammar, but I wanted it that way, so ignore that, please.

I really like this as it is. Reminds me of the old saying about stopping to smell the roses. Well we all need to take the time to stop and listen. Listen to our spouses, children, friends and family or in this case and I might add the option I like the best - Listen to the silence. You never know what things you will hear.

Great job.. so many are fluttering about daily without stopping to really take in what is around them.. the fresh air can be invigorating.. the winds flowing through trees.. the birds and other daily elements we normally miss.. this is a tribute to studying life and one's surroundings .. just enjoying taking it all in. I loved the simplicity of it.. wonderful!

This says to me that we don't take the time to stop and listen or to notice the important things in life and that perhaps we should slow down and get in tune with the world around us. It's just what I took away from it. It was really quite nice.
