Falsetto

In need of a falsetto,

Need it right now,

Sugar rush to me, only more,

Single note left me gasping,

Sing to me, I need that note again,

 

It lasted an eternity in my heart,

If I listen hard enough,

I can still hear it going on,

 

So sing that falsetto to me,

Sing that sweeter-than-life falsetto...

Make my heart beat,

Faster than ever before,

It meant the world to me,

When I heard that gorgeous note,

 

It rushed into my ears,

Like a bolt of lightning,

Whirled around in my mind,

As I became aware of that falsetto,

Knew it was you,

Playing forever in my heart. ~
