Ashes to Ashes

engulfed in flames

Cracked vial of Cocaine

removed the needle from black veins

 

                       Once Empty gurney,

headed for the docks

the pouch is zipped

Death rattle been and gone

 

Identity tag around blue toes

Perfect stranger banished

to the Morgue

 

Doctors here pretend they know

Flayed my skin �" Inspected my bones

Blinded by internal organs

washed away the pains of yesterday

 

Everything has gone

Everything will stay

Ashes to Ashes
